Ivan Eugene Jansen, born in Aruba in 1955, is a versatile, multi-faceted guitar player, arranger and composer. In 1982, he graduated “cum laude” in Professional of Music Performance from the Berklee College of Music in Boston Massachusetts, where he studied contemporary music, jazz improvisation and specialized in jazz composition and arrangement. He completed his studies in classical guitar at the Academy of Music “Francisco Cristancho” in Bogota, Colombia in 1978 and in 1986 Ivan took master classes from world-renowned Venezuelan classical guitarist Alirio Diaz. >read more
